Pantech to release the world's first smartphone based on Snapdragon 805

Most often in the role of innovative companies are the famous giants of the mobile industry - such as Samsung, LG , or , at worst , Apple. It seems that other manufacturers, who are more experienced and well-known in the local markets , are also planning to bring to the market share of innovation.

Thus, the South Korean company Pantech plans to release the world's first smartphone based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 805.
Recall that Qualcomm has announced its new Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 805 with four core Krait 450 and clocked at 2.5 GHz in November 2013 , but the timing of availability of chip manufacturers was not reported . Known portal GSMArena states that the first device based on Snapdragon 805 will be available in May 2014. It will be the Pantech Vega Iron 2 .
No official data on Pantech we have , but according to rumors , the smartphone will be a real leader , even by the standards of 2014.
Display size Vega Iron 2 will be 5.5 inches at a resolution 1080h1920 pixels (Full HD). It seems that Pantech has no plans to participate in the race displays, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the battery life of the smartphone . The device will be equipped with 2 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB of internal flash storage , 13 megapixel main camera and a 3 megapixel front photosensor . Battery capacity will be 2800 mAh , work Vega Iron 2 is running Android 4.4.2 KitKat, which is a logical step from the manufacturer - in 2014 should not be issued with an obsolete version of the flagship operating system. The exact release date Vega Iron 2 is unknown to us , but we expect this event is not until mid- May.
