Designer Nick Ludgate has imagined a ZTE phone and this brand doesn’t get on our radar too often, I have to say.
The newcomer is called ZTE Evoke and it comes with a 5.9 inch 2560 x 1440 pixel display, as well as a Snapdragon 805 processor, a quad core clocked at 2.7 GHz.
The ZTE concept phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and integrates at the back a 20 megapixel camera with laser focus and ZTE Trueshot feature. There’s a 4000 mAh battery inside, 32 or 64 GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot and finally we’ve got ZTE DuoSound Speakers integrated here, which are dual front facing speakers. They’re inspired by HTC’s BoomSound, apparently.
ZTE Evoke has minimal bezels and the design isn’t very shocking or surprising, since we are dealing with a regular rectangular slab of metal or plastic after all. Well, at least the top and bottom edges are narrow, which is something many device makers have forgotten how to do.
