It’s been a while since I last saw a luxury phone and the BlackBerry Aero is one such device, that looks interesting.
Created by Deviantart.com user Suwhenzetie for Crackberry.com, this piece of work includes some flagship level specs and some minor design tweaks to make fit in the league of luxury handsets.
BlackBerry Aero has a stainless steel frame, a 13 megapixel camera with phase detection, laser autofocus and optical image stabilization, as well as a dual LED flash.
There’s a stealth black soft touch rear area and we’ve got a charcoal black BlackBerry logo. The designer also implemented a glass inlay that covers both the camera and BlackBerry logo and to me the back area feels like it has racing stripes on, which is not exactly bad.
This model has a Li-Ion 3200 mAh battery, a multicolor notification LED, as well as a 2.1 megapixel front camera with Full HD video capture. We’ve got top dual front facing stereo speakers with BlackBerry Natural Sound, a microSD card slot and the case offers an angled design for comfortable holding. The screen on the BlackBerry Aero is certainly a premium one, a 5.5 inch Quad HD unit with a Super AMOLED panel.
