Britons in 2015 awaits the rise in prices in the iTunes Store and App Store

Prices for apps and games in the App Store, as well as music

and movies from the iTunes Store have long been accustomed to the user a degree of stability and not changed for years . However, local laws may well make their own adjustments to it . For example, the British owners of Apple devices expect a rise in price of services by 20%.

All the matter is that until recently existed in UK law loophole allowing sales of digital content to avoid local taxation . According to The Guardian, in the budget, which will be effective from January 1, 2015 , there is an amendment , making this practice impossible.

In particular, Telecommunication companies , cable companies and suppliers of electronic services from other EU countries will have no tax benefits. Previously, their geographical location outside the United Kingdom allowed these companies to avoid taxes, in carrying out its activities in the UK. The tax itself is 20%.

For example , Apple or Amazon previously used Luxembourg as a country where sales were made digital content. There's tax rate ranges from 3 to 15%. Thus, the iTunes Store users waiting quite a noticeable rise in price of music, films and books. In the App Store price changes will not be as global as the application is already sold subject to 15% tax.

We also recall that last summer's pricing has changed somewhat in the Russian App Store. Originally it was expected that prices will grow by 3-6 rubles, depending on the original cost of the application. However, the actual increase in prices has not occurred . Only a few copies of games and programs differ slightly higher price. All changes were on the conscience of the developers and publishers.
