Here we are with a fresh Microsoft Lumia
concept, this time one rendered by Stephen Olli Kallasvuo. The newcomer is called Microsoft Lumia 840 and it combines the designs of the legendary Nokia N8 and the Lumia 930.
Its specs include a Snapdragon 615 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, as well as a microSD card slot with support for up to 128 GB storage. There’s a 5.2 inch AMOLED Full HD screen in the mix, a 16 megapixel Pureview camera with Zeiss lens and a dual LED flash. Optical image stabilization is also included, as well as 4K video recording and there’s a 5 megapixel front camera, too.
We’ve got a 2800 mAh battery inside and the design traits that were taken from the N8 are best felt at the top and bottom front of the phone.
The camera area wasn’t borrowed from that model, since it would feel old nowadays, but the cool sharp top and bottom are here. The bezels are a big too big for modern standards, but that’s been the Lumia approach for a while now.
