As the iPhone 7 gets more and more renders, people tend to forget we’re also going to get an iPhone 7 Plus. It’s widely known as the bigger and dual camera packing iPhone 7, that this time gets a set of
3D renders from Techconfigurations.
They propose a metal unibody case rendered in Space Black and a predictable format, similar to the predecessor’s. What’s not similar is the set of Smart Connector dots at the bottom of the back and the protrusion of the dual back camera. As one of the hands on leaks from the past week showed, the Home button will no longer be “deep” and it’ll be more of a capacitive Home button affair.
Waterproofing, moved antenna lines and lack of audio jack are all things expected here. If you ask me, the inclusion of a dual back camera would mean that Apple would cave in to a general trend, which is something they usually don’t do. They set their own trends. People will go ahead and call them copycats, after looking at LG G5 and Huawei P9, one selling modestly and one selling pretty well.
So, is it a good idea in the end?
