one of the former Microsoft officials said he was considering an Xbox Phone at some point and wasn’t very happy to let that project go unmade. Well, today we come across yet another Xphone render, this time made by Lucas Silva.
Dubbed Xphone by Microsoft, this is an edge to edge aluminum smartphone, focused on gaming and its design is based on the Xbox Elite controller. It packs a 5.2 inch Full HD screen, as well as an aluminum body. It comes in 3 colors, black, white and green and relies on a 25 megapixel back camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Pureview technology.
There’s a 10 megapixel front shooter, while inside we find a Snapdragon 820 octa core 2.8 GHz processor and 4 GB of RAM. The gaming phone measures 8.5 mm and uses a 4250 mAh battery. Predictably is does Xbox streaming, runs Windows 10 with Continuum and supports Xbox joystick control. To me this feels like a smaller version of the Nvidia Shield. How about you?
