Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Render May Reveal the Future of Xperia Designs

We usually don’t cover 

phone leaks, but this is a more of an approximate render we’re getting here. The interesting bit about the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra render is the fact that it has an edge to edge display, an approach Sony hasn’t tried till now.

Of course, the images could be faked, but let’s assume they’re not. If the rumors about the Sony Xperia Z5 are true, then the phone is going to be a letdown, just like the Xperia Z3, Z3+ and the Z4. Rumors talk about a Snapdragon 810 CPU, same Omnibalance design and Full HD screen. However, if you add an edge to edge screen in the mix, may sweeten the blow.

Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is marketed as a selfie phablet, with a 5.5 inch screen and a 13 megapixel front camera with LED flash. 

Considering companies like Sharp or LeTV have already launched edge to edge smartphones, this is by no means a premiere. Still, Sony could finally deliver a beautiful handset design, like back in the days…
