If you follow the news related to the latest smartphones, you probably know that this year we’re supposed to be getting both an LG Nexus 2015 and a
Huawei Nexus 2015. Both have been leaked in benchmarks and specs, but so far no image has appeared online. That’s where designer Jonas Kvale comes in.
He created a render of the Huawei Nexus 2015, that’s shown below. We’re dealing here with a 5.7 inch Quad HD smartphone, as rumored.
This is a flagship Android M model, that feels to adopt a metallic case, with a rectangular format and rounded corners. There’s a Snapdragon 820 CPU inside, 64 GB or 32 GB of storage and a 16 megapixel back camera with dual LED flash.
USB Type C and a 3100 mAh battery are here, too. Jonas has included a fingerprint scanner on the lower front bezel, although judging by Huawei’s latest designs, they prefer to place it at the back. Traditionally, Nexus phones are not made of metal, but rather of a soft touch plastic, so this may be a bit of an exception and premiere. The Home button makes it look a bit like a Samsung.
