Sony promised last year that it won’t be releasing two flagship Xperias this year, being content with only one. That’s why the Xperia Z4/Xperia Z3+ may be the only major handset they release in 2015. However, they could
surprise us with the Z5 at IFA 2015. In the meantime, let’s see a vision of the Xperia Z5, as envisioned by Babak Soren.
The device comes with 2.5D curved glass and it adopts an old school vibe, that reminds me of the time of the last Sony Xperia Walkman and Xperia Active models. At least it’s not the usual rectangle, with two pieces of glass sandwiching a metal frame. The designer also integrated a 21 megapixel IMX230 camera and a front 8 MP shooter.
A Snapdragon 820 CPU and 4 GB of RAM are included too, together with a Quad HD screen, of unknown diagonal. This model looks kind of bulky for a 2015 flagship, to be honest, but I’ve seen worse from Sony, so what do you think about it?
