few Sony concepts a while ago and now he’s back with a fresh Xperia. It’s the model that’s leaking a lot these days, the Sony Xperia Z5. Don’t expect the run of the mill handset here, but rather something new.
This is a Quad HD 5.5 inch smartphone with a Triluminous OLED display and an aluminum unibody case. The side Power button integrates the fingerprint scanner, just as rumored and at the bottom there’s the USB Type C port. This Xperia Z5 concept runs Android M and its standout point is certainly the solar power charging, through a special back panel.

There’s a new camera with OIS, hybrid AF and 5x clear image zoom on board. The “newest Qualcomm CPU” and 4 GB of RAM are also mentioned by the designer, plus IP68 certification and 32 GB of storage. A 3500 mAh battery and an IMX230 camera sensor are all here. I like the vibe of the material upfront, maybe like a soft touch type material. The call speaker I don’t quite dig, since it resembles the one on the LG AKA.
