Ancel Lim has imagined a new brand of smartphone, the Arvo, that today spawns a new handset.
The newcomer is called Arvo E6 and it’s pictured below. This is supposed to be some sort of flagship, with a 4K display on board and a fingerprint scanner.
The device also has 4 dot sensors at the 4 corners, so it can detect facial expressions and help the user take better selfies.
The price is $455, which is not very steep for a next gen 4K phone. This unit will be followed by a smaller Arvo model, inspired by the iPhone 6. Back to the Arvo E6, it comes with a CPU called ArvoChip MAxa and its 6 inch screen supports a 2160 x 3840 pixel resolution.
There’s a 12 megapixel back camera, a 5 megapixel front cam with OIS, 32, 64 or 128 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. This unit runs Android 5.0 and uses a 2360 mAh battery, with 24 hours of functioning time. The Maxa CPU is a quad core Cortex A57 unit, with an active listening core and ARM Mali 830 GPU. The design of the phone feels like a Nokia Lumia mixed in with a bit of HTC and a touch of Xiaomi maybe…
