BlackBerry is having a pretty good time over the past weeks, thanks to the sales of the BlackBerry Passport model, but how about new formats?
They’ve tackled the crazy square phone and the 7 inch tablet already, but today we uncover the BlackBerry Z70, a bezel-free handset with a 6.7 inch display. It’s the creation of Deviantart user Suwhenzetie.
This big BlackBerry phablet has a Super AMOLED 2560 x 1440 pixel panel, with 438 ppi density. This doesn’t include its e-Ink Touch Display Bezel. We’ve got rear facing stereo speakers and a touch sensitive volume rocker. The entire device is the size of the BlackBerry Playbook’s active screen. The E Ink Toolbelt area will allow the user to pick a few options or deactivate it if they want to. The texture of the back of the phone reminds me of the BlackBerry Z10 and feels very grippy.
The BlackBerry Z70 concept also looks very slim, well balanced and from profile it looks like a Fabula Design Nokia. Many people consider the Nexus 6 too big at 6 inches, so how about this 6.7 inch device? It’s certainly too big to be a phone and one whole inch larger in display compared to the Galaxy Note 4. Would this mammoth work?
