Cheap middling or yesterday's flagship?

Constantly reading the news and press releases about the release of the next smartphone-state employee, I often find myself thinking that the device is actually not very interesting. 

Yes, the price is lower than the champions, it is more affordable to buy but I do not feel like it. If you are currently hard money, it's better to wait a month or two and get something more interesting. Or even look at the flagships of last year. Have you ever noticed that yesterday's flagships, even a year after release, are interesting topical today cost models. But yesterday's flagship will be none the worse not even slightly older hardware and does not give you the worst user experience. 

After all, in today's low-end models is iron performance at about past champions, but on what they like to save vendors, trimming price - screen. Here you will surely lose. And often the appearance of flagship devices much more attractive than the budget level devices. Even if you think about the updates that even yesterday's flagship chances as much or more to get the latest version of Android in the future than the budget models. Now every year, and even more often, the big vendors release flagship device. These devices are getting the best to date and the most powerful and sophisticated iron, the highest specification, the maximum svistelok and chants, many of them in real life are not claimed. And components for assembly because of its novelty and a limited number are rather expensive. Due to this and the price of the device in the end is not small. 

Releasing low-end models, vendors may forbidding maintain high prices for flagship, telling us that if you do not have enough money for the most top iron, then take care of you by offering a budget option. Yes, many devices out decent budget segment, but it is good that they can not be called truly interesting and welcome. iPhone 5S, mini line of HTC and Samsung, Moto G, Moto E. 

The guys from Pocketnow give an actual example. Nokia Lumia 306. It costs about as much as Lumia 925, but with the latter loses a number of parameters. Or compare all figures HTC One Mini 2 and last year's flagship HTC One M7. What do you think the most attractive from all sides? Price tag they differ even in favor of HTC One M7.
