Bang & Olufsen Concept Phone Serenata 3 Designed by David Quijada

David Quijada, with a few sci fi looking smartphones. Today we give you the Bang & Olufsen Serenata 3, an elegant handset that’s shown in the image below. It’s totally atypical for the current trend of design.
We’re dealing with an elongated phone that reminds me of the time when Sony Ericsson made elongated Cybershot cameraphones. This model adopts very slim bezels, a minimalistic design and has big and flat metallic buttons. The buttons seem to be capacitive or even pure physical keys, with different icons shown compared to what we’re used to. This design is a tribute to the Bang & Olufsen designers Jacob Jensen and David Lewis.
If you’re familiar with their sound systems and various other products, you’ll feel the design identity of the famous acoustics company. The strange thing about this Bang & Olufsen Serenata 3 phone is the fact that I can’t actually see its speakers. They could be those huge black areas on the side or placed at the back. Would this only be a fashion statement or a hit phone?
