Google Pixel 2 Receives Trailer, Featuring Metal and Glass Design

The Google Pixel came as one of the last flagships of 2016 and also brought the best camera of the

past year. The Google Pixel 2 thus has huge shoes to fill and now we have a glance at its concept, supposed to be the Google flagship of 2017. Techconfigurations is the one that rendered it.
The smartphone has a glass and metal design, plus it’s waterproof this time. I’m pretty sure it will still be made by HTC and for some reason it doesn’t switch to a dual camera, which is all the rage right now. It does get a 12 megapixel ultra wide camera for selfies. Gorilla Glass 5 is used as panels for the front and back, with a metal frame sandwich between.
Specs are rather typical, from the Snapdragon 835 CPU, to the dual front speakers and main 16 megapixel camera. The back is a bit rounded and the general format of the device and frame seem to be a testament to what HTC has been doing over the past year with the Pixel and HTC 10. I think those shiny metal edges should be replaced with matte ones, because there’s simply too much gloss here and using this during a torrid summer day would be hell.
