Created by Microsoft Lovers, the Microsoft Lumia 740 concept phone is all about great selfies
and a pretty powerful back camera. As the name says, we’re dealing with a new age of midranger, with Windows 10 for Mobile and some solid specs.
The Lumia 740 brings a 5 inch 1080p screen with an AMOLED ClearBlack panel and inside we find an octa core 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. At the back there’s a 13 megapixel camera with Zeiss lens and F/2.0 aperture, as well as LED flash and Full HD video capture. Upfront we’ve got an 8 MP shooter with wide angle lens and LED flash too.
Front side video capture is also enabled at Full HD resolution. Other specs include 8 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and 1 GB of RAM, plus dual SIM slots and 4G. Finally the battery is a 2650 mAh unit. The smartphone brings a colourful polycarbonate case and it seems to have a pretty big back camera area. The screen panel is slightly elevated about the body.
The design is pretty standard, by Fabula Design guidelines. I can’t say I’m very impressed here, especially since polycarbonate angular designs don’t cut it anymore. We need something new!
