If you have a
look at the calendar, you’ll see that we’re not that far away from IFA 2015, taking place in Berlin this fall.
The event will finally bring to life the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the newest Samsung phablet. Till we get the first leaks, we’ll have to be content with concepts, like the one below.
Xalmey Khan has rendered it and this time, the Note 5 gets more rounded edges. This render features a slim chassis, rounded screen edges and an Exynos 7420 processor, or the Snapdragon 810 processor, although frankly speaking I expect a different approach. Samsung could once again use only an Exynos and not a Qualcomm, just like in the case of the Galaxy S6.
Of course, they may opt for a Qualcomm, if all the problems of the Snapdragon 810 are solved and the Snapdragon 808 or 818 are launched. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 shown here is expected to come with 4 or 8 GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. Android 5.0 Lollipop is shown with a facelift in the renders, with a more colourful approach than usual.
The rear camera is speculated to be somewhere in the area of 17 to 21 megapixels, while the selfie camera will be a 5 MP unit. We could also predict the phablet will have a 6 inch 4K display. If this is anywhere close to the Note 5, what happens to the Note Edge 2?
