Rendered by Janish Kolakkattil, the ASUS ZenFone Neo 1 is supposed to be an evolution from the current ASUS ZenFone models.
The Indian designer has created here a model that adopts a new type of aluminum body, with an unibody design approach.
There’s also Gorilla Glass 4 protection in the mix, a triple LED flash for the 16 MP main camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter. There’s also a new Zen UI on top of Lollipop and inside the phone we find an Intel Atom Z3580 octa core processor, clocked at 2.3 GHz. The device relies on 4 GB of RAM and this concept measures 7.5 mm in thickness.
It has 32 GB of storage, a 5.2 inch Full HD screen and it weighs 170 grams. The Power button is on the right side and the volume rocker on the right this time. HSDPA, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and a non removable 2930 mAh battery complete the specs list. If you ask me, the back camera design feels borrowed from the Galaxy S units a bit, but the big back speaker is pretty original.
Pretty wide form factor, too…
