OnePlus 4 Edge Goes to the Next Level, With a Curved Edge Display, Dual Camera Module

While the world is worrying about the Nintendo Switch or the new Apple MacBooks, some people

dream about the OnePlus 3T, or maybe even the OnePlus 4. Techconfigurations goes even further, envisioning the OnePlus 4 Edge, possibly the next logical step for the young and optimistic Chinese company.

The device adopts the famous curved edge screen panel upfront, that was recently spotted on the likes of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the Huawei Mate 9. Seeing how Samsung made a ton of such panels for the Note 7, they may as well hand them out to various partners, so a 5.7 inch diagonal is likely here. The designer speaks about a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, 8 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 830 CPU, so this is a powerhouse.
There’s a 16 + 8 MP dual camera at the back, while the selfie camera is a 12 MP unit. I sure hope there’s an extra camera gimmick here, like a wide angle lens, or a telephoto lens, maybe laser focus or some other cool item. From what I can see the OnePlus 4 Edge also gets dual front speakers, that are much wider compared to what Sony Xperia XZ is oferring for example.
While I’m pretty happy with the front of the device, the back is kind of ugly, to be honest. In the video below you can also see a special dock, used to juice the phone wirelessly fast. 3D Touch is also present somehow.
