We take a breather from the huge amount of leaks surrounding the Galaxy S7, just to check out the latest concept
that Jermaine Smit created. It’s the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, that even gets its own video below.
The designer seems convinced that the device will end up looking like this and I think he’s pretty close to the real deal. So, of course we’re going to curved screen edges, as well as a protruding back camera and a rectangular Home button. The metal frame is still here, albeit looking a bit thicker than on the predecessor.
I have to be honest and admit it would be hard for me to tell which is the Galaxy S7 Edge and which is the Galaxy S6 Edge. They have the same metal frame form factor, but the diagonal goes up to 5.5 inches this time. We also get a Snapdragon 820 CPU, 4 GB of RAM, a Quad HD resolution and a fancy shade of pink for the case.
Android 6.0 and a 2750 mAh battery are also here, plus a 12 megapixel main camera with BRITECELL technology and an 8 MP selfie shooter. It’s still not clear if we’re getting an USB Type C port or not…
