with just calling their Surface Phone concepts “Surface Phone”, so it’s been hard to differentiate between their projects. Well, considering such devices have been rendered for about 3 years now, it’s time for a bit of name change. Thus, we introduce the Microsoft Surface Phone X.

This device was created by Sam Kurd and it’s shown below, in a very detailed video. This smartphone has a 5.2 inch display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RA and 128 GB of storage. There’s a 20 megapixel rear camera in the mix, plus a 5 MP selfie shooter. The designer envisions here a “stylish and durable device”, that comes with Continuum and it’s able to easily run w32 apps.
I have to say that some design approaches are very original here, like those cross screws at the back or the protruding audio jack at the top. The camera is surprisingly discrete in comparison with the Lumias at least. Microsoft Surface Phone X also looks like it has those “levels” of edge height, like the Amazon Fire Phone, that made that model very comfy and ergonomic.
