“Wow this is the first iPhone 7 concept I’ve seen!” said no one ever… There’s no shortage of such concepts, but when they’re made by Jermaine Smit we suddenly pay attention, because he has a good track record. And now here’s a teaser from him:
The designer is working on a new iPhone 7 design, that’s teased in the video below and wants to be different compared to the crowd. To me the format seems like a bit of a return to the days of the iPhone 4 maybe and I see that we’re getting dual speaker grilles at the bottom. The Home button is still here, with Touch ID included and the sides seem a bit rounded.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a glass plate at the back, since that’s how design trends work: they’re cyclical. What are your expectations for the iPhone 7 concept that Jermaine Smit is preparing? He’s working on integrating an USB Type C port by the way!
