The company Oculus VR made a
presentation, according to which the final version of the head-mounted display Rift will be available in early 2016.
According to a post in the company's official blog, Oculus Rift consumer model will be based on the current prototype, code-named Crescent Bay.
According to the developers, by the time the device will get improved design and ergonomics, as well as an improved tracking system that ensures comfortable use in a sitting and standing position.
In addition, in the near future promises Oculus tell more details about the program "stuffing" VR-device. Apparently, the demonstration of the final version of a helmet will be in the exhibition E3, which takes place from 16 to 18 June in Los Angeles.
Pre-order on VR-helmet from Oculus will be later this year. The price tag for the device is not yet known. According to rumors, the virtual reality of the buyer will have to pay 200 to 400 dollars.
