Seeing how we’ve been
invaded by Samsung and HTC concepts, it’s a breath of fresh air that we get to see an iPhone render, like the one below. Dani Yako has imagined the iPhone 7, with a sapphire screen and iOS 9 on board.
We’re dealing here with a bit of a phablet, a 5.4 incher with an unusual 2880 x 1880 pixel resolution. There’s an IPS LCD panel in the mix and the handset uses an aluminum body with a sapphire screen. It measures 6.5 mm in thickness, weighs 110 grams and uses a 64 bit Apple A9 processor, an octa core unit clocked at 2.5 GHz. that helps it run iOS 9.
Somehow, we also get 4 GB of RAM, although Apple doesn’t exaggerate with crazy specs like these.
The storage goes from 32 GB to 128 GB and there’s a 16 megapixel back camera in the mix, with dual true lighting. The camera comes with BSI, autofocus, laser focus, digital image stabilization, HDR and voice activation. The camera does 4K Video capture and comes with OIS. Finally, the iPhone 7 front camera is an 8 megapixel one, able to do 1440p capture at 30 or 60 FPS.
The design is very, very slim, but the camera is sooo big, by any standards. I like the “coffee colour” model rendered here, if that’s even the colour. Slim bezels, by the way…
