While it took Apple a 12 inch tablet to make a stylus, Samsung is only happy with 5.5+ inch diagonals to
offer such accessories. Meanwhile, the ZiPocket 3 XL is a smaller concept phone that interacts with a stylus even in spite of the tinier diagonal.
Created by Zamir Roslan, from Malaysia, the device feels a bit like an iPhone, but a “mini” one so to say. The handset is suited for your palm, seeing how it’s so small and it comes with a 4:3 aspect ratio screen. It also seems to pack a main camera with no flash, for some reason. There’s also a new experience applied on top of Android Marshmallow.
It’s called ZiOS 3 and comes with a simple and user friendly UI, plus it’s one handed focus. The camera uses a TrueVision technology, for more color vibrance, speed and fluidity when focusing, as well as sharpness. It’s a 15 megapixel camera with OIS and 4K video. In spite of the compact size, this is a Snapdragon 820 phone with 3 GB of RAM and a premium metal body.
The ZiPen offers a realistic pen experience and perfectly matches the device. If Apple ever makes an iPhone Mini, this should be it.
