Tomorrow is November
26th, the day when Huawei is supposed to unveil the Mate 8 phablet. This will be the first handset with the very powerful HiSilicon Kirin 950 chipset inside. What you can see below is a series of leaked renders of the handset, the last ones ahead of the debut.
Huawei Mate 8 has an edge to edge screen, a metallic case and a fingerprint scanner below the back camera. It’s a reasonably slim smartphone and its color choices are gray, gold and copper. The main camera seems to be protruding a bit and the Huawei Mate 8 comes with a large 6 inch Full HD screen, a Kirin 950 processor and a Mali T880 GPU.
We’ve got 3 or 4 GB of RAM inside, 32 or 64 GB of storage and I’m willing to bet that Force Touch will also be here. A 16 megapixel main camera is also here, plus a front 8 MP shooter. The general format isn’t very far from the one of the Huawei Mate S, to be honest.
