Samsung Galaxy S7 seems
to be on everyone’s lips these days, thanks to quite a few leaks, but we’re more interested in a potential Galaxy S7 Edge version of it. Luckily we’ve got concepts to flare up our imagination, like the one below created by SCAVids.
It also includes a couple of predictable specs, like 4 GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 820 CPU and a 21 megapixel camera. An USB Type C port is at the bottom and curved screen edges can be seen here. The front camera is upgraded to 8 megapixels and the OS is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also seems that the Power button and volume buttons have been upgraded to a bigger size.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge camera seems to not be protruding anymore and the screen is a Quad HD one.
The design is more elongated now, or so it seems to me and the frame looks a tad bigger and more wrapped around the glass than before. Overall, I’d say it’s the light amount of innovation needed to spark a new Galaxy S Edge, but the real change would have to be in the software area, maybe related to those edges and their features.
I’d definitely like to see them both working at the same time. Nice looking front speakers by the way!
