Remember when the ASUS ZenFone 3 leaked? Well, I do and I also remember it looked pretty badass and
that it seemed quite an evolution from the ZenFone 2 series. Anyway, ASUS ZenFone 3 should be coming in 2 months at Computex 2016 and till then the leak was turned into the 3D renders below.
The creation of Techconfigurations, this series of images shows the device in its full metallic glory. The similarity to the latest Huawei P9 models is pretty big, as you can see. We do get a fingerprint scanner at the back, while the front and back panel seems to include a 2.5D curved glass panel. USB Type C connectivity is also here, plus dual speakers.
In some ways, this feels like the Huawei P9 and the Galaxy S6 combined, thanks to the back side look. Specs are supposed to include a 5.5 inch screen, with a Full HD resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 CPU and 3 or 4 GB of RAM. ASUS ZenFone 3 will thus be more of an upper midranger than a true flagship.
