Fancy a brand new render of a Nokia flagship? Meet the Nokia 8, that’s been rendered by Concept
Creator, who also teased the device a few days ago. The renders are amazing and be sure to check them out and a video below.
Yes, the device is reminiscent to the Lumia series, to the Lumia 950 especially, but the glass panel goes all the way to the sides, with narrow bezels. I don’t see a curved panel this time around, but the way the glass is applied on top of the metal frame is certainly unique. Big dual speakers upfront are important to notice, showing that Nokia really wants to deliver kickass acoustics.
The designer also envisioned some specs, like 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and a 22.3 megapixel camera. We get a dual LED flash and next to it a heart rate monitor, new for Nokia. The screen has very narrow bezels, as shown by the video below. The Camera UI still has those special semi circles for the options and features, just like back in the Windows Phone age. There’s 5.7 inch AMOLED 2K Display here and the body is made of metal, of course, probably aluminum.
Expect to see a similar approach from the real device once it debuts at MWC 2017.
