Samsung Galaxy S8 Leaked Render Feels Boring, Device Has No Home Button

I’ve seen quite a few Samsung Galaxy S8 renders till now and only 2 or 3 have been really impressive. Most of them are Galaxy Note 7 or S7 lookalikes, some of them being merely rectangular devices with

curved sides. Today’s leaked render is rather typical, minus the lack of Home button.
What we get here is a Galaxy Note 7 lookalike, but this set of renders also reminds me a bit of the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, to be honest. The “innovation” here is the lack of Home button upfront, which means the fingerprint scanner should be embedded within the screen panel, since it’s also not at the back. I’m surprised to see there’s no dual camera at the back and that the screen doesn’t have the expected curved edges.
It’s true that the bezels are minimal, including the top and bottom one upfront. I also seem to spot an iris scanner close to the earpiece, which would make sense, seeing how we never got to enjoy the one from the Note 7. Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to debut at MWC 2017 next month at the earliest, although other rumors place it at an April event.
Expect at least half a dozen more renders to leak before the device is out. What do you think of this one, though?
