Benjamin Geskin came into our spotlight when he created a very good LG G6 render and now he’s
back, with a render made for the Samsung Galaxy S8. It’s based on the world famous leaked image published by Evan Blass a couple of days ago, together with the launch date of the device.
Remember the time when the Galaxy S8 cases leaked? Things were not clear at all, with the fingerprint scanner nowhere to be found the camera flash moved above the cam somehow and the iris scanner gone. Now in Benjamin’s render it’s clear that we get an iris scanner upfront, a camera flash at the left of the camera and a fingerprint scanner to the right.
The screen edges are curved, the top and bottom bezels are narrow and there’s an extra physical button, probably meant for the virtual assistant Bixby. As far as the Evan Blass leak goes, he claims that the device will come on March 29th and it’ll be in shops on April 21st. The Galaxy S8 should have two versions, one with a 5.8 inch diagonal and the other with a 6.2 inch one.
I’m not sure if the back of the S8 is made of glass, but it looks like it.
