The folks of Curved/Labs have created yet another lovely Apple concept, this time not a phone, a tablet,
watch or something else portable, but rather a desktop PC. It’s basically a rebirth of the iMac, the colorful and trendy one that started Apple’s real foray into cool desktops. It’s called the Apple eMac.
The computer shown here is also modern, specs-wise, sporting the same hardware as the latest iMac, but also bringing a 17 inch Retina Display with 4:3 aspect. There’s also a front facing dual camera for 3D capture, as well as scanning and imaging. There are stereo speakers upfront, 3 USB Type C connectors at the back and an all glass front with a capacitive touchscreen.
The Apple Magic keyboard, mouse and Apple Pencil are connected to this device via Bluetooth and the whole gizmo measures 40 cm in width, 30 cm in height and 36 cm in depth. The Apple eMac comes in anodized aluminum colors like Silver, Space Grey, Gold and Rose Gold. The computer is very, very slim and somehow feels like a very, very oversized iPod nano at times.
What do you think?
