I am shocked by the lack of Android phone concepts lately, but today we’ve got the motherload: the Google
HTC Nexus 2016 concept. Created by Dmitry Stvolov, this concept phone is pictured and specced below.
The handset packs a 5.2 inch screen with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, a 3200 mAh battery and USB Type C with fast charging. At the back there’s a 12.3 megapixel camera with OIS and at the front an 8 MP shooter. Inside we find the Snapdragon 820 CPU, although by the time a new Nexus comes, the CPU will probably get a successor.
3 GB of RAM are here, although I expected 4 GB and then there’s 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB of storage. The camera area is very well rendered and the screen has very narrow bezels. The dual front speakers resemble the ones from HTC Desire models and look classier than those on the Nexus 6P. And guess what? The device is made by HTC!
