LG G Edge is a Fancy Looking Smartphone, Right Out of Samsung’s Playbook

There’s no doubt what

LG G Edge concept 1

the most beautiful phone is this year: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, at least when it comes to mainstream brands. LG has got to counter that model and its bigger version with something equally impressive. The LG G Edge may just be enough, although it may feel like a rushed S6 Edge clone.

Designed by DBS, this concept phone packs a 5.5 inch AMOLED 4K display with dual curved edges. It also has a 5000 mAh battery, Android Pay support and a very nice combo of glass and metal integrated within the chassis. The LG G4 F/1.8 aperture is present here and the camera UI is also kept. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the OS of choice and this device comes with USB type C connectivity, an iris scanner and fingerprint scanner.
Unlike the Galaxy S6 Edge, the LG G Edge relies on a Power button and volume buttons placed at the back, a metal back (or plastic looking like metal) and a generous back speaker. It comes with 64 GB of storage, 4 GB of RAM, 13 MP front camera and 24 MP main shooter with OIS 2.0. The CPU is a Snapdragon 820 and if all those specs make the cut, this is a device that’s clearly more impressive than the Galaxy S6 Edge…
