Victor Cao is unveiling yet another concept he envisioned for CES 2016, a Sony model obviously. It’s dubbed Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra and it’s a phablet, obviously, coming with hardcore specs and oriented towards gaming and media consumption.
The device
packs a 6.4 inch 4K Triluminous X Reality OLED display and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, accompanied by an Adreno 530 GPU, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It has an USB Type C Port and the back camera is a 23 megapixel shooter, with f/2.0 24 mm G Lens and Exmor RS sensor with phase detection autofocus.
There’s an 8.1 megapixel selfie camera, stereo speakers with 1 W output and high res audio. Finally, the Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra packs a 3900 mAh battery and offers IP68 certification, for resilience to water and dust. It measures 6.9 mm in thickness and comes in black, gold or pink. It’s able to charge wirelessly using a special charging pad in under 120 minutes.
The design is quite reminiscent of the Xperia Z5 family, with a rectangular body, slim waistline and side placed fingerprint scanner. Will we see this at CES 2016?
