Imagined by Janish Kolakkattil, the Sony Xperia XX concept shown below has specs that make me think of the Sony Xperia Z2 Compact.

This model can be called Sony Xperia “Ex Ex” or “Double X” and it comes with a fresh notification light with the XX logo.
It’s dust proof and waterproof, as expected and it can withstand 1 meter of dipping and 30 minutes of water dunking. The OS here is Android 4.4.2 KitKat and the display is a 4.5 incher, leading me to believe this is an Xperia Compact unit. It also has a Snapdragon 801 CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. The design is pretty typical, your average rectangular with highlighted edges and the metal power button.
The camera has been centered and it’s a 12 megapixel unit with LED flash and 1080p 30 FPS video capture. The screen offers a 720p resolution by the way and the specs list includes a 2000 mAh battery, NFC and LTE. I wonder why Sony doesn’t even try to give up the rectangular format just for kicks… just for one model. Or at least make it metal!
